Author’s Notes: I’m apologize for taking a full week to get the next chapter out… I kept deciding to re-write sections or changed my mind about how the chapter that would follow this one would be structured. Currrently, I’m still in limboo about the details of chapter 6, but I wrote this one into something that I could go either of the executions I’m considering without an issue. I figure now that I’ve got bboth incarnations of chhapter 6 outlined, I’ll probobly write sooemthing somewhere between the two, as they both go in the same direction in the end.

A special thanks to everyone who commented. I felt bad leaving you all in the lurch so long while I decided exactly how to handle this chapter and the one to follow. I’m thinking I’ll probobly get this updated once a week from here on out with how busy things have been in my life.

Red vs Blue
– Deconstruction by tsukinobotan (Grif x Simmons) PG: Slash, Language [Reced 3.1.2008] A lovely piece in which Donut and Grif interact on the subject of Simmons.
– Aim by Grimmons88 (Grif x Simmons) NC-17: Slash, Explicit Sex, Violence, Language, Mildly Non-consensual sex [Reced 3.3.2008] This is one of those stories that drew me into the RvB Slash fandom with it’s blatant Cyborg!Simmons and dark tones. Deep darkness is interspersed with moments of shining light. Definitely worth the read. I dream of a sequel… or at least a oneshot with the two (relatively) happy together.

Jurassic Park
– No Force On Earth Or Heaven by Tarlan (Alan x Billy) PG-13: Slash, Violence [Reced 3.2.2008] A retelling of JP3 that includes a touch of homoerotic romance.

Heroes
– Control by flying_monkees (Sylar x West) NC-17: Non-con, underage, mindfucking [Reced 3.3.2008] I’m warped. Nothing more or less. Wonderfully written.

Harry Potter
– Poisons and Remedies by Megyal (Harry x Draco) NC-17: Slash [Reced 3.9.2008] An interesting future-view of the potential world of Harry Potter, in which the key to defeating darkness was embracing it.

Summary: Simmons isn’t the only one who’s not completely human.

Author’s Notes: I took so long due to my new Laptop, Bumblebee, finaly getting here. The process of settling in and getting him on the netweork proved to be one hell of a challenge. All the while my notebook with the rough draft sat next to my bed (My “Zen place” involves sitting cross legged on my bed. Something I just can’t do with the PC, so I hand-wrote these first two chapters’ drafts. Things will go faster now with Bumblebee around to make it so I can type strait into the computer wherever I feel like writing.)

And, in response to the hopes of someone kind enough to commment (something I really need to start doingg more of on the stories I read…) There will be violence. I accctually have a few plot points in mind that kinda… hinge on moments of violence.

*giggles* the scene at the end of this chapter really makes me wish I knew how to draw people properly.

Most of my overriding concepts are just bits and pieces of everything else that have been reconstituted to resemble something original.
